SATA International will operate during the IATA summer of 2009 (April to October) a second direct flight between Madeira and Paris (Charles De Gaulle), thus increasing the frequency to two weekly flight for this airline between our island and the French capital.

A FlyMI, nova companhia aérea com sede na Madeira, que tinha marcado o início das suas operações para o próximo ano, deverá começar mais cedo, respondendo desta forma a uma procura de transporte existente no mercado, nomeadamente no segmento de voos 'charters' para transporte de turistas.
